Instructions

• Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

• Add the spinach and water to the skillet. Cover and cook until the spinach is wilted, about 5 minutes.

• Remove the lid and stir in the paneer cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the paneer is heated through.

• Serve hot with rice or naan bread.

Tips

• Before serving, you can top the palak paneer with some yoghurt for a deeper flavour.

• If you don't have paneer cheese, you can substitute tofu or halloumi cheese.

• To make the palak paneer ahead of time, cook and assemble the dish as directed. Let cool completely, then cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, reheat in a skillet over medium heat until heated through.
